Plant sales are a great way for groups to earn money, and we've figured out how to make it easy for you! We'd like to invite your non-profit organization to hold a plant sale fundraiser with us this spring.
Your school, church, scout group or other not-for-profit group can sign up with us for a date to hold a plant sale at a location of your choice (within 50 miles of VVN). We'll work with you to choose plants and plan promotions for your fundraiser.
Your group organizes the use of a location, makes arrangments for tables and volunteers, and gets the word out about the plant sale.
On the day of your sale we'll deliver beautiful plants for your volunteers to sell. At the end of your sale we'll come back to retrieve anything that hasn't sold, and bill you for 75% of our retail price for plants that are not returned. There is nothing to buy outright.
Plant sales are sometimes based on a theme like butterfly gardening, native plants or water-wise landscapes. Convenience, no risk, ease of operating and profitable returns make our plant sales popular events for fundraiser organizers. Great, colorful, sustainably grown plants at great prices make them popular with shoppers, and volunteers love buying plants too!

With our long-running fundraiser events scheduled for spring 2011, we now have a limited number of weekend dates available for peak spring plant sale time. School sales might benefit from a weekday afternoon/early evening sale time corresponding with regular or early dismissal, parent-teacher conferences or other special school events.
