Culms are entirely golden yellow except for an occasional thin green stripe. Running bamboo with a height range of 25 to 35 feet and culm diameter of 2". We grow this bamboo in very shallow soil outside our barn, where it has been thriving in our Z5/6 winters since 2006.

This running, evergreen bamboo grows only 1 to 2 feet high. Look great in low, wide planters, but can become quite invasive when grown in the ground. Should be planted in areas contained by concrete!
