During your site visit (within 25 miles of VVN only — includes Baldwin, Eudora and Lawrence areas*) we’ll identify plants you have in your landscape, talk with you about the kind of garden you would like to have and take measurements of the area.
Taking all of this information back to the nursery, we'll design a beautiful and functional garden complete with site map and corresponding plant list. Because we design using plants from our own nursery stock, you'll never have to search for hard to find items when implementing your new plan. And you'll have the benefit of being able to set up future appointments when you visit the nursery to shop with the landscape designer familiar with your garden plan. Use your site plan to install your own landscape, or make arrangements for us to do the work for you.
We will contact you by phone within 48 hours to arrange an appointment. Drawings take two to three weeks to complete. Drawing is charged a $30/hourly fee, and not all site plans are equal. Our fee allows for intensive plans covering an average-sized residential lot requiring complete design of foundation plantings, decorative beds and borders and even an edible home market garden plot if desired. Smaller designs will leave a nice balance which can be applied towards plant purchases.
