Description

This hybrid comes from parents native to Peru and Mexico. Unusual round leaves are attached to stems at the center, and can be used in salads to add a mild peppery taste. Flowers are also edible, and can be used in sweet or savory dishes. Blooms of brilliant yellow, orange and deep red-orange over green foliage lightly splashed with white. Plants grow 10-12" high and wide, and stay dense through the summer. They grow best when placed in afternoon shade.
