| This is a wonderfully showy, drought tolerant, heat-loving annual for the garden bed. Large plants grow 4' tall and wide in full sun and produce purple flower spikes continuously all summer and through fall. Plants attract butterflies and hummingbirds, and are avoided by all but the hungriest of deer. Planted with torch tithonia, you'll just about faint from the beauty, but not from the work — both are low-maintenance! Plants grow 2-3' tall. |

Landscape Uses, Planting and Care
- An excellent butterfly garden plant, also appreciated by hummingbirds. Flower spires make great cuts for floral arrangements.
