| A natural insecticide with the active units (AU) of microscopic beneficial "insect-eating" nematodes. This cold-active strain of Steinernema feltiae kills a variety of pests important in horticulture, and works in moist soil at temperatures from 50°F to 85°F. AU's do not have to be eaten, rather they seek out pests penetrating below soil surfaces to attack and kill them. Once in the soil, SCANMASK survives air temperatures below -20°F. One treatment lasts more than 18 months in turf or undisturbed soil. |
