Description
 
An excellent pollinator plant, ornamental and herbal. Both flowers and leaves have a delicate anise or licorice flavor, and reminding some of root beer. Blossoms make attractive garnishes and are often used in Chinese-style dishes. Excellent in salads.

  • Nectar-rich flowers are very attractive to butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and other pollinators. Also makes excellent habitat for beneficial predatory insects. A great perennial to include in the veggie garden.
