One of the best tasting heirloom tomatoes comes from Tennessee. Cultivated by the Native American Cherokee tribe, these productive plants produce rose to purple colored, 12 to 16 ounce   beefsteak tomatoes with deep red interior flesh and dark shoulders. A very popular market variety because of it's rich, complex and sweet flavors.
